Yasgur's Farm is the birthplace of the world renowned 1969 Woodstock Music and Arts Festival; which Rolling Stone listed as “One of the 50 Moments That Changed the History of Rock and Roll!” Max Yasgur was the Bethel farmer who allowed his property to host the historic festival that ultimately drew 500,000 people together for 3 days of peace, love and music.
Since 1996, the hallowed grounds of Yasgur's Farm have been a gathering place to relive the spirit of that moment. Every August, around the original anniversary dates, hippies from all nations come together to celebrate the legacy of the most famous festival in history.
